Just about three days ago, the former Blackstars captain revealed in an interview with BBC that he’s ever ready to play for Ghana one more time before officially retiring from active football.

Asamoah Gyan further compared his possible return to that of Roger Milla, who came out of retirement to play for Cameroon in the 1994 World Cup and made name for himself.

In the course of the trending interview with BBC, Asamoah also disclosed that he wants a second chance to redeem himself f against Uruguay after missing a crucial penalty in the quarter-finals of the World Cup against the South American side in 2010.

Alot of Ghanaians have shared different contrasting opinions over Asamoah Gyan’s plea to be added to the Blackstars squad for Qatar 2022.

Clearly, many Ghanaians are not happy with his decision to join the senior national team and Bulldog is part of these angry and disappointed people.

According to Bulldog, Asamoah Gyan should stay home and allow young talents to also showcase their prowess to the world because he has already done more than enough for Ghana.

He went on to add that, Ghanaians have never asked nor begged him to revenge on Uruguay hence his smart way of trying to gain a slot in the Blackstars squad with his supposed “Revenge” mantra shouldn’t be given an audience.

Controversial Bulldog said on UTV’s United Showbiz program last weekend that;

“What is the revenge about? Do you think Ghanaians want revenge? Are you the one seeking revenge or Ghanaians? Have we told you we need revenge? When did we speak to you about revenge? Why is he saying that?”

When you’re a legend, you’d want to correct some errors before you retire; that is what he wants to do. Honestly, he did well for Ghana but that penalty he missed has become a dent.”

“The circumstances are not the same. If it’s because of revenge, he should stay home,”
