The assemblyman for Kperisi electoral area of the Wa municipality Hon. A. Walid Jnr on behalf of his people have extend a profound gratitude to the the Member of Parliament for Wa central Constituency Dr. Rashid Pelpuo for his unflinching support towards the development of the electoral area.
He Wrote
“On behalf of the good people of Kperisi Electoral, I wish to extend our profound gratitude to our Honourable Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency, Dr. Rashid Pelpuo, for his prompt response to our request by providing a sum of GHC 8,000. This generous contribution enabled the reconnection of the Kperisi Clinic’s beautiful maternity ward to the national grid on Friday, September 6, 2024. The health facility have been working without electricity for many years.
Restoring electricity to the clinic, which serves the Chegli, Kperisi, and Sagu communities, has significantly improved access to healthcare, particularly for maternal mothers who were previously forced to travel to Wa for labor-related services. The reconnection is expected to enhance healthcare delivery within the electoral area.
We are immensely grateful to our MP for this and the many other initiatives he continues to support. However, like Oliver Twist, we will keep coming back for more help, confident that Dr. Pelpuo will continue to support us. May Allah continue to protect and uplift him to serve us even more.
Dr. Pelpuo has consistently contributed to the development of the Kperisi Clinic, transforming it from a CHPS compound to its current status by providing essential facilities such as the maternity ward and nurses’ quarters. We are hopeful that with his continued support, the clinic will be upgraded to a polyclinic in the future.
Furthermore, on behalf of the good people of the Electoral Area, all football enthusiasts, our coaches, and the entire football club, we extend our sincere thanks to the MP for donating another set of jerseys to equip and enhance our sports activities. This support comes after he generously paid the club’s registration fee of GHC 1,000 a month ago.
We are deeply appreciative of all the efforts Dr. Rashid Pelpuo has made for our community and look forward to his continued support for our growth and development.”
