Ghanaian international Zakaria Issahaque has made a move to Dekedda FC, a top-flight football club in Somalia, ahead of the upcoming season.

The versatile defender has signed a two-year contract with immediate effect. Issahaque previously played for Mogadishu City Club in the league for the past two seasons but decided to join Dekedda FC after the conclusion of his contract.

Dekedda FC is considered one of the powerhouses in the top-flight league in Somalia. They have previously won the league title for three consecutive seasons.

In the last season, they finished in third place and have aspirations of competing in continental competitions, such as the Confederation of African Football (CAF) competitions, in the upcoming season.
