In a heartfelt message dated August 6, 2025, His Majesty Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpou IV, the Wa Naa and Overlord of the Wala State, has expressed profound sorrow over the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of Ghana’s Minister for Defence, Dr. Omane Boamah, Minister for Environment, Science and Technology, Alhaji Murtala Mohammed Ibrahim, and six other distinguished citizens.
The devastating incident at Adansi has left the nation in mourning, and the Wala Traditional Council stands in solidarity with the bereaved families, the Government of Ghana, and all citizens affected by this national tragedy.
“Their dedication to Ghana’s progress will forever be remembered,” the message reads, calling for unity, reflection, and a renewed commitment to peace and development in honor of the departed.
