Popular radio personality Mustapha Jakpa known by many as JM have annouced his departure from Radio Waa 92.1 after six years of passionate and deligent service. The said departure is effective on the ending of April.
Being a dynamic personality, he served in various capacities in his tme at the radio station ranging from sports, general news , entertaiment and other social programmes. He stressed that his resignation is personal and not there is no bad blood between him and management or any of staff the radio station.

“As the saying goes, every long journey eventually reaches its end. It has been an incredible six-year journey for me at Radio Waa, filled with challenges and cherished moments alike. Today, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to the management and staff, both past and present, for their unwavering support throughout this chapter of my career.
With a mix of emotions, I regret to announce that I will be bidding farewell to Radio Waa at the end of this month, April 2024. This decision has not been made lightly, but I feel it is time for me to take a break and explore new opportunities.
To all those who have accompanied me on this journey, I extend my sincerest thanks for your time, dedication, and camaraderie. Your support has meant the world to me, and I am truly grateful for the memories we have shared.
It’s important to clarify that my decision to depart is purely personal, and there is no discord or ill will between myself and the management or any member of the staff. I leave Radio Waa with fond memories and a deep appreciation for the experiences gained.
As I embark on this new chapter of my career, I promise to keep you updated on my next challenge when the time is right. Until then, I bid farewell to Radio Waa with a heart full of gratitude and anticipation for what the future holds”
