The Wa Magistrate Court has set aside the interim injunction that was previously placed on the Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University (DHLTU) Alumni elections.

The Court order, sealed on June 26, 2025, effectively set aside a ten (10) day interim injunction that had been placed on the alumni elections, which were scheduled for June 25, 2025. The injunction had been sought by Iddrisu Ansuardeen Nanjo and two other applicants.

In the order to set aside the interim injunction, issued pursuant to Order 13, Rule 5 of C. I 59, the court stressed that its jurisdiction was not properly invoked and no issue or writ of summons was granted before the initial injunction was issued. The application to set aside the injunction, which was filed on June 24, 2025, was granted on June 26, 2025.
