Abdul-Rashid Anaata, a well-known wedding MC in the Upper west region is set stand trial in the Wa circuit court today monday 7th August 2023.
The pupular Mc ia alleged to have defiled over 30 little girls between the ages of 8 and 13 years in the Wa Municipality. This horrifying crime has sent shockwaves through the community, and justice is now being sought for the victims.

Ever since the allegation in earlier this year, Anaata has been on the run from the Ghana police service until Friday, 4th August, when long arm of the law finally caught up with him. The police acted swiftly and apprehended the suspected pedophile in Wa.
