“Gang gan” is a cultural dance found within the people of chegli a suburb of Wa in the Upper West Region.It is a rich cultural dance where both young and old display their dancing skills at a go.
It is a famous danced performed at both official and unofficial occasions such as festival, funerals,independent day celebrations etc. Alot of prominent people in Ghana and beyond have danced to the tuned of this famous drums.
Last time, it was Emmanuel Andrews Samini known by stage name Samini (pebilee Naa) turn. The global super star danced gallantly to the tune of this drums as if he has danced it before, but it wasn’t a suprised because the aroma of the tunes can make one does the impossible.
