UW/R : Hon. Nuhu Putiaha assures NTCWA of massive infrastructural development under next the NDC government

Hon. Issahaku Nuhu Putiaha, the former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Wa municipal, has pledged to management of Nursing Training College,Wa next NDC government will prioritize infrastructure development for the college.The assurance was made during a send-off party held at Fanco Hospitality Hotel to bid farewell to former principal of the college Dr. George Yaw Segnitome.

The former MCE known as the ‘godfather’ of the college re-located the college to it’s current campus at kperisi after the school operated at the Wa municipal hospital under borrowed facilities for several years.

During his tenure as MCE, he leased with the kperisi Tendaaba to secure a parcel of land for the school. He built auditorium, classrooms with library and administration for the start in 2014.

But sinced the NPP government took power in 2016, is fair to say that the college has been neglected totally, the college is still left in the state of Nuhu Putiaha in 2014. The college is yearning for hostel facilities over the past years which the former MCE assures management that the next NDC government will definately finished what they started by building accommodation facilities and others for the school.

Hon. Nuhu Putiaha reiterated the importance of investing in quality infrastructure to enhance the educational experience of students at NTCWA. He acknowledged that the college’s success depends not only on the dedication of its faculty and staff but also on the availability of modern facilities and resources.

As such, he pledged that the NDC government, if elected, would prioritize infrastructural development for the college, ensuring that it receives the necessary resources to expand and thrive.

The  send-off party, held at Fanco Hospitality Hostel, was organized to honor the achievements and contributions of  Dr. George Yaw Segnitome during his tenure as the principal of the college. Staffs of the college and Attendees expressed their appreciation for his dedication and leadership, acknowledging the positive impact he had on the college and its students.
