The Upper West Region have embarked on a new chapter with the appointment of Hon. Stephen Yakubu as its Regional Minister. This change in leadership follows the outgoing regional minister Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih handover of responsibilities after serving the region for a period.

In his farewell address, Dr. Bin Salih expressed gratitude to the Upper West Region for the opportunity to lead. Dr. Bin Salih will now serve as the Upper East Regional Minister.
