In her speech, Hajia Humu highlighted the achievements of the NPP government, noting that she had successfully lobbied for about 200 teaching slots for youth in the constituency, providing sustainable employment for the beneficiaries. This, she emphasized, is part of the NPP’s commitment to empowering the youth through job creation.

Focusing on the importance of unity within the party, Hajia Humu likened the situation to the teeth and tongue analogy, where despite occasional clashes, both must forgive each other and work together. “We have hurt each other in many ways,” she admitted, “but with open hearts, let’s forgive one another and unite with a shared purpose of winning the Wa Central seat.”

Her call for unity reechoed with the attendees as she stressed that only through cohesion and collaboration can the NPP secure victory in Wa Central in the 2024 elections.
