The Upper West Regional Police Command on March 29, 2025, arrested Abdulai Ibrahim (34) and Kipo Ibrahim (36) for their involvement in a series of motorbike thefts and robberies in the Wa Metropolis.
The two suspects had been on the police wanted list due to their alleged involvement in the theft of motorbikes in the Danko and Napogbakole areas of the Wa Metropolis.
A search at their hideout led to the recovery of seven motorbikes and three number plates with the registration numbers M-24-UW 4134, M-21-UW 6468, and M-20-UW 2846.
The suspects were brought before the Wa District Magistrate Court on April 4, 2025, and have been remanded into police custody. They are scheduled to reappear in court on Monday, April 28, 2025.
The Upper West Regional Police Command has commended the public for their continued support and cooperation in this matter, helping to bring the suspects to justice.
