The Upper West Regional Football Association (RFA), under the leadership of Alhaji Yahaya Saadugu Biyad, has scheduled the 2024 RFA Congress to be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the Upland Hotel in Wa, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The RFA Congress is a key event for the region’s football stakeholders, and this year’s gathering promises to be significant as various clubs, associations, and officials come together to discuss the way forward for football development in the region.
Expected Attendees:
-District Football Associations: Each represented by two officials, including the chairman.
Division Two League Clubs: One representative from each of the 29 clubs.
Referees Association: One representative.
-Match Commissioners Association: One representative.
Division One Women’s League: One representative from each of the five clubs.
Juvenile League: The chairman and assistant will represent the league.
The special guest of honour for the event will be Mr. Mark Addo, Vice Chairman of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), adding significance to the congress as stakeholders look forward to his insights and updates on football development at the national level.
The Upper West RFA looks forward to active participation from all stakeholders, aiming to strengthen football operations and collaborations within the region.
