Located in Nadowli, in the Upper West Region of Ghana, McCoy College of Education stands as a prominent Catholic mission school with a deep commitment to training teachers for the nation’s basic schools.
Established in 2014, the college was born out of a social audit conducted by the Catholic Diocese of Wa in 2011, aimed at addressing the physical and financial gaps in the educational sector. The college’s establishment was in direct response to the growing need for well-trained educators in the region.

General Admission Requirements
For admission into the college, applicants must meet the following general requirements:
WASSCE Holders: Must have CREDIT PASSES (A1-C6) in six (6) subjects, which must include:
-Three (3) Core Subjects: English Language, Core Mathematics, and either Integrated Science or Social Studies.
Three (3) Elective Subjects relevant to the course of study.
SSSCE Holders: Must have CREDIT PASSES (A-D) in six (6) subjects, which must include:
Three (3) Core Subjects: English Language, Core Mathematics, and either Integrated Science or Social Studies.
Three (3) Elective Subjects relevant to the course of study.
