The National Democratic Congress (NDC) running mate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, is set to embark on a two-day campaign tour of the Upper West Region. Scheduled from November 19 to November 20, 2024, the tour is part of the NDC’s efforts to consolidate its dominance in the region ahead of the December elections.
The NDC Upper West Regional secretariat has released the itinerary for the tour, which includes engagements with traditional leaders, opinion leaders, party supporters, and various communities. This visit underscores the party’s commitment to deepening its connection with voters in the region and pushing its electoral agenda.
The NDC has set targets for the Upper West Region, aiming for an overwhelming 80% of the votes for John Dramani Mahama in the presidential election. In addition, the party is pushing for its “Agenda 11/11,” which seeks to secure all 11 parliamentary seats in the region.
