The police service has arrested four suspects at Kupelga in connection with the viral video in which a female victim is seen being subjected to inhumane and degrading treatment by a group of people.
The suspects are Awizore Amolt, 38 years; Akolbila Asorwogo, 19 years; Akolbila Ben, 21 years; and Atibila Aladago, 37 years.

They were arrested in a police intelligence operation in the early hours of today, Tuesday, 13 June 2023, following a preliminary investigation into the said video.
The four suspects are currently in the custody of the police and assisting the investigation while efforts continue to arrest other accomplices to face justice.
Meanwhile, the police say they are in touch with the victim and her family and arrangements have been made for a police clinical psychologist to provide her with psycho-social support.
The police announced its investigations into the incident on Monday.
In the viral video, several community members made up of old women, men, girls and children, in the village, were seen circled around the naked victim who was seated on the bare ground with her body covered in dirt from hair to toes.
They could be heard speaking in an angry tone about whatever crime the only-bra-wearing girl might have committed.
Some of them pushed her to lie flat on her back while they forced her legs open and filmed her nether parts.
They then stripped her bra off so she would lie on the ground absolutely naked.
She was then hit with what appeared to be a crude object and what seemed like blood covered her forehead and part of her face.
She was then forced to run from the community into what seemed like a desolate bush.
“We wish to call on the public to remain calm as efforts are underway to get the perpetrators arrested to face justice”, the police said in a short statement.
