Multimedia journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni has strongly criticised President Akufo-Addo for his abysmal handling of the Ghanaian economy since his second term.
In several posts on social media, the award-winning journalist believes the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has shown no signs of correcting the wrongs in the contract which was signed by the erstwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.

He lamented the rate at which Akufo Addo-led government is putting all the blames on the war in Russia-Ukraine war making positing that “the war in Ukraine has affected Ghana more than Ukraine”.

The war in Ukraine will, one way or the other, affect the economy of Ghana as government expenditure will increase.
This expenditure is something that was not budgeted for. This means funds allocated to other sectors will have to be diverted to cater for this unexpected expenditure.
