The former president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has indicated that when the National Democratic Congress (NDC) comes back to power in 2025, the government will scrap the controversial E-Levy.
The flagbearer of the party in the 2020 elections made this known during a recent submission he delivered at the Ghana At A Crossroads event.
The revelation was reiterated by the member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Hon. Sam Dzata George. The post by the lawmaker reads;
“I believe the announcement by @JDMahama that the next NDC government in 2025 would SCRAP the obnoxious e-Levy settles the minds of all who have asked me the question. The Boss has spoken. End of discussion. 🦁💪🏾”
