General manager of Home Radio Network Limited, Umar Yakubu Kunateh affectionately called Asprilla has backed Wa Suntaa SC to survive relegation in the ongoing division two league.
The team has been recording inconsistent results in Ghana’s second tier football competition having won 4 matches, losing 8 and drawing 10 after match day 22.
The poor run of results have left the club in and out of relegation zone which becomes a worry to football loving people in the region.
Umar kunateh Asprilla could not hide his joy after the club’s latest win over Unity FC far away at Berekum Golden City Park on match day 22.
As impressive as the results is, the award winning journalist heaped kind words on the team and encouraged Wa Suntaa SC to record more wins in order to maintain their spot in the division one league.
Indicating the need for Suntaa SC to improve their performance, Umar Kunateh said on Home Sports Whatsapp page “Better for Suntaa SC now. They need to work hard to escape relegation and prepare better for next season”.
Wa Suntaa SC is currently on 12th position in Zone one with 22 points, separated from the drop on goal difference.
