Goalkeeper for the Ghana Black Stars, Richard Ofori is set to miss the World Cup after suffering an injury at his club Orlando Pirates within a few days to the start of the world cup.
Before his injury, Richard Ofori had been alleged to be one of the names on the yet to be released squad list for the Black Stars ahead of the World Cup.

The injury also comes at the time when his club side, Orlando Pirates were preparing to face rivals, Kaizer Chiefs in the South African cup tournament.
This is a big blow for Ghana and Orlando Pirates considering the fact that Richard Ofori has been very decent in the goal post for both his club and country.

Head Coach for the Ghana Black Stars, Otto Addo has confirmed that he will announce the squad list for the World cup on Monday, 14th November. The Black Stars will start its world cup campaign against Portugal on November 24th.
