On June 14, 2024, the Fenbo Foundation, a non-profit organization based in the Sissala East district of the Upper West Region, donated sanitary pads and provided health education to pupils of Pieng Primary and JHS. This initiative is part of the foundation’s mission to promote a healthy society as a foundation for wealth.
Following the donation, the foundation organized health screenings and a mini gala tournament on Eid day. Gracing the event were chiefs, elders, and enthusiastic youth from both communities. The tournament’s final match was a thrilling encounter between Challu FC and Pieng FC. After 90 minutes of intense soccer, Pieng FC emerged victorious with a 1-0 win, securing a giant trophy and new football jerseys.
These activities reflect Fenbo Foundation’s commitment to fostering a healthy and vibrant community.
