Born Dramani Samsideen, Sambwoy GH is a Ghanaian Rapper,Singer,Songwriter and stage performer in Wa, the Upper West Regional Capital of Ghana.
In his early days, he rose very high through the ranks of rap as a member of a popular label, Wisdom Music, under the leadership of Best Gally.
In 2020, Sambwoy parted ways with his label and started going solo. He has to his credit over 40 singles and one studio album titled Angaamwini Album. Sambwoy is recognized in the region and beyond for his unique command of the local dialect (Waali) in his songs.
In his mid-20s, Sambwoy has earned many nominations and awards both in and out of the region. Notably, he was crowned the overall artist of the year in the maiden edition of premiere awarding scheme in region, Upper West Music Awards. He was subsequently nominated in the Northern Artist of the year category of the Upper East Music awards with the likes of Wiyaala and Fancy Gadam. He also emerged as part of the National Top 10 Next Rated Artists by 3Music Awards in 2021.
Sambwoy is a great stage performer as his songs are known among the masses across the length and breadth of the region.
He will be delivering a live performance during the final awards night of the second edition of the prestigious Upper West Music Awards.
