Jirapa, in the upper west region, is set to come live, as the top brass in the Upper west Music Industry storm the town with nominees Jam of its 2022/2023 edition of the Upper West Music Awards (UMA).
The event is scheduled to take place in The Royal Cosy Hills in Jirapa of the upper West region at exactly 7pm on 16th December, 2022.
After previous editions, it has over the years grown to become a very integral part of the event that many Musicians and patrons look forward to.
Performances from the over 110 musicians and 30 categories given the platform to show the many fans why they deserves to be voted for.

Speaking on Gangaa FM in Jirapa, spokesperson of UMA, Khalid Abdul-Ganiu known by many as Fashion King, said preparations had been smooth, with the artistes expecting a conducive weather for an amazing show.
He said there would be a surprise considering the galaxy of artistes who would be gracing the occasion in Jirapa, in addition to other intriguing activities.

According to him, the rationale for the Jam was to ensure that music lovers in other parts of the 11 districts of the upper west region witnessed the HMB-UMA experience, and as happened in the region‘s capital, Wa in the past.
He added that the decision to hold this year’s event in Jirapa, is to make every part of the upper west region have a feel of the Upper West Music Awards.

This year’s edition comes with great packages including Nominees seminar on the theme: ‘’ Branding and Rebranding’’, Nominees Football Gala, Nominees Jams, the main slated for January 2023, and the Nominees Dinner.
