The Ghana Police Service has announced the next stage of its 2024 recruitment exercise, inviting successful candidates to undergo medical examinations. In a press release dated November 5, 2024 (Ref: PAD/PRESS/VOL.4/1/124), the Police Service confirmed that notifications have been sent via SMS to candidates who qualified through previous stages of the selection process. The medical exams are scheduled for November 7 and November 8, 2024, at specific centers in Accra.

The examinations will be conducted at the following locations:

  • Police Church premises (near 37 Military Hospital)
  • Police Church premises (Odorkor)
  • Police Interdenominational Church premises (Police Depot, Tesano)
  • Formed Police Unit (FPU) Headquarters (Police Depot, Tesano)
  • Detective Training School (Police Depot, Tesano)
  • Police Academy (Police Depot, Tesano)

The Police Service has set the cost of the medical examination at GH¢980.00. Candidates are urged to pay only this official fee and to disregard any other fees solicited by unauthorized individuals. The Police cautioned that additional charges from external parties are fraudulent and must be reported immediately.

Candidates who did not progress to this stage have been notified and are encouraged to apply in future recruitment exercises. The Police Service stressed that no one can alter the outcome of the selection process, warning unsuccessful candidates to avoid making payments to individuals promising assistance.

The Ghana Police Service is committed to transparency and fairness in its recruitment process. Candidates are advised to follow official instructions and avoid unauthorized payments to safeguard themselves from fraudulent activities.
