The Nation Builders’ Corps (NABCo) Trainees Association of Ghana is seeking the government to pay up allowances of its trainees in arrears for the last seven months.

The trainees in a statement stated, “they have been thrown into a point of no hope as the administration has turned deaf ears to the urgent issues.”

They argued that the reality on the ground is not representative of the promises made by the administration to invest in the young via job development.

“We are asking the govt this basic question: while we have been assured of the soon-to-come arrears/permanent solution, till when?”

As a reminder, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the year 2018 announced the NABCo program to hire around 100,000 unemployed graduates.
