Ojay, a well-known rapper based in Upper West Region, reveals his dissatisfaction with the way local event planners handle musicians.
He claims that artists spend a lot of time, money and energy trying to wow their fans and help event organizers put on a spectacular event, but they only receive meager payments in exchange. This is in response to the mishap that occurred at this year’s Dumba musical show, where event organizers paid performers GHS 50 each. He took to his Facebook wall and wrote “Seriously It’s not fair how event Organizers treat Artist in this municipality. Very sad”
In an interview with OneMuzikGh.com Ojay complained about how he would be able to pay bloggers, DJs, and everyone else involved in his ecological cycle with these kinds of money so that there would be a successful continuation of subsequent events.
