The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially released the first batch of 13,700 trained teachers from Accredited Teacher Training Colleges to commence their National Service at various educational institutions across the country for the 2025/2026 academic year.
All deployed service personnel are required to log onto the NSA website http://www.nss.gov.gh to check their placements and print their appointment letters for endorsement from their designated user agencies.
The start date for National Service is April 2, 2025, with regional validation processes set to begin on March 26, 2025, and conclude on April 11, 2025.
The National Service Authority reminds the public that, in accordance with National Service Authority (Act 1119) 2024, all Ghanaian citizens who have attained the age of 18 years or older and completed an accredited tertiary institution are mandated to undertake national service to the state.

The NSA has committed to strengthening partnerships with the Ghana Education Service (GES), CHASS, and private schools throughout the country to help minimize learning outcome gaps, especially in rural communities.
This effort ensures that the deployed teachers will play a key role in enhancing education delivery and supporting national development goals.
