In a shocking turn of events, Ibrahim Baba Bukari, the Bono East Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is currently in critical condition following a motorcycle accident.

The incident took place in Assin Bereku, within the Assin North District of the Central region. Mr Bukari was actively engaged in a door-to-door campaign, seeking support for the NPP’s Charles Opoku ahead of an upcoming bye-election scheduled for June 27, 2023.
