The Deputy Upper West Regional Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Madam Khalida M.A Seidu, has been appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Microfinance and Small Loans Center (MASLOC).

Madam Khalida brings a wealth of experience to her new position. She is a dedicated educator with a diverse educational background, known for her determination, discipline, creativity, and strong self-motivation. She currently serves as a lecturer at the Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University and holds a keen interest in both teaching and research. Furthermore, she is a current PhD candidate in Human Resource Management at SDD-UBIDS.

In her capacity as Deputy CEO at MASLOC, Madam Khalida will be responsible for leading several critical departments, including Policy Planning, Research, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Corporate Communication. These departments are considered key pillars in driving MASLOC’s strategic growth and fostering innovation within the organization.

The Microfinance and Small Loans Center (MASLOC) plays a crucial role in Ghana’s economic landscape by providing micro and small loans to start-ups and existing small businesses. Their mission is to offer fast, easy, and accessible microcredit and small loans that enable businesses to grow and expand, ultimately enhancing job creation and wealth generation within the country.

Madam Khalida M.A Seidu’s appointment is expected to bring her extensive educational background, her understanding of policy and research, and her commitment to development to bear on MASLOC’s operations and its impact on small and medium-sized enterprises across Ghana.

Her leadership in these key strategic areas will be instrumental in furthering MASLOC’s mission of empowering Ghanaian entrepreneurs and contributing to economic growth.
