Fast-rising Ghanaian artiste, Clement Ayamga professional known as Nambawan enjoying all the millage after his Ghc 20,000.00 was presented to him as the UEMA21 “Artiste Of The Year” is set to release a new music dubbed “20k Issues”.
JetLee as he is fondly called announced the good news in a question form via his official Facebook page on March 26, 2022.
The question lagging in the minds of many music lovers was ” Could the song be a responsive song to Showbowy or whoever has ever hurt him?”.
Well, the rapper who emerged the winner of the 3rd edition of the prestigious Happy Man Bitters – Upper East Music awards ” Artiste Of The Year” unveiled a cover art of the unreleased song.
Throwing more light on the project in a recent interview on A1 Radio in Bolgatanga, Nambawan told the host that “about 20k, you know there are a lot of unpleasant things happening here in the music scene and I feel like I’m the artiste of the year, I’m with the crown now. I have always been the spokesperson for the industry, but with 20k I am just trying to address some of the issues”
He added that the “20k Issues” is not just about his recent win and the benefits he had received but to address the unpleasant comments aired by many people after his win which initially led to the decision of the head sponsor, Happy Man Bitters to withdraw all its services from the awards scheme as the sponsor.
Nambawan believes that even if he can not curb all the controversies surrounding his win and the industry as a whole in the yet-to-be-released song, he will curtail (reduce) them.
“This one [the song] is not specifically for that. It is about 20k issues, we have a lot of issues surrounding the industry that if we could at least manage some; we cannot eradicate, I mean we cannot do away with everything but if we could manage them in a certain way I think it could help us and help push Upper East Music,” he said.
