Alapta Wan has decided to give us a breathtaking symbolic punchline in her latest controversial song “Dem Dead”.
“Dem Dead” was released as a jab at every Reggae/Dancehall musician in the Upper East region of Ghana. The song was churned out a few hours after she had placed a challenge on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter.

She stated specifically in the tweet that she was not calling on her female genre-mates but the male ones.
The daring call on her male counterparts to engage in the brawl with her, triggered them to utter disparaging remarks about her. Such as “She is is an amateur, “they are not ready to engage in beef with a lady”.
Reacting to the comments in the song, she said they had balls (testicles) and she doesn’t have but she is ready to banter with them.
