The general public is officially informed that Saturday, April 22, 2023, is designated as a Statutory Public Holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr.

However, because April 22nd, 2023 falls on a Saturday, His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Ghana, has declared Monday, April 24, 2023, as an additional public holiday that should be observed nationwide in accordance with Section 2 of the Public Holidays and Commemorative Days Act (Act 601).
