The 5th edition of the highly anticipated Ghana Football Awards took place at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Center (AICC) on Sunday, June 25, 2022.

This prestigious event celebrates the achievements of Ghanaian footballers, coaches, clubs, and administrators who have excelled within the year under review. Medeama SC, the reigning Ghana Premier League champions, emerged as the standout winners, while Ajax attacker Kudus Mohammed claimed the coveted Footballer of the Year award.

Despite the success of the event, this year’s edition witnessed lower attendance compared to previous years.

Established in 2018, the Ghana Football Awards scheme aims to showcase and honor Ghanaian football excellence. It has rapidly become the most coveted event in the country’s football calendar.
