A young man has electrocuted himself in Kasoa a suburb of Galelia in the central region of Ghana.
This tragic incident occurred around 3:00 pm on 14th October 2022, the information gathered showed that the victim resides in Ashaiman but he has been visiting one of his friends in Kasoa almost every day but today when he came his friend wasn’t around so he went to sit besides the main power supply of the electricity company of Ghana with the intention of waiting for his friend.
But after some minutes, the inhabitants of the locality saw the victim climbing the power supply unit which is about 25 feet tall. He was warned with lots of shouting and screaming from the inhabitants of the locality for him to get down but he refused.
He continued till he got to the highest point where he came into contact with the main switch which got him electrocuted and confirmed dead.
After the incident, the district police came for the corpse to undertake further negotiations.
