A change in fee for musicians seeking David Adeleke’s involvement on their songs has been revealed by the well-known Nigerian singer known professionally as Davido.
The “Away” singer Davido revealed that he is now demanding $100k (N46M) plus a video in exchange for being featured by foreign artists.
On the Bootleg Kev program, where they were talking about the spread of Afrobeats around the world, the vocalist let everyone know about this.
Davido claims that things have suddenly turned around and that he is charging instead of presenting foreign artists for free.
As anticipated, the video sparked a variety of responses from internet users. While some applauded Davido for his most recent choice, arguing that free access to him will be limited because he won’t be taken for granted, others pointed out that he should charge more given his standing in the music industry.
