“I Will Never Marry A Poor Man” – Actress Salma Mumin declares
Ghanaian actress Salma Mumin has made her intention known concerning marriage.
Salma Mumin stated in an interview that, though she was single, she was not with anyone, and she was not ready to be with anyone.
According to the actress cum producer, her reason for wanting to remain single was to concentrate on her production company, Salma Pictures.
She told the host in the same interview that though every man is a man, she was not ready to have a poor man as her kids’ father (marry a poor man).
“No, I won’t [marry a poor man]. You need to work hard. Because I’m working hard, and I don’t need me a man to come and sit at home for me to work and put food on the table. We both have to work and support our family.”
She said all of the above in a 2016 interview with Rado GIJ.
Salma Mumin is a Ghanaian actress and producer. She is the CEO of Salma Pictures, producer of the hit movie ‘No Man’s Land’.
She has starred in various movies including, ‘The Will’, ‘Happy Death Day, ‘Seduction’, and ‘Passion and Soul’. Her contributions to the Ghanaian movie industry have earned her several accolades, including Best International New Actress at the 2014 Papyrus Magazine Screen Actors Awards and Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2019 Ghana Movie Awards.
