Member of Parliament (MP) for Sissala East, Issah Bataglia, has issued a strong warning to the public, urging them to stay vigilant against fraudsters using fake Facebook pages in his name to scam unsuspecting individuals.

The fraudsters, who have created multiple fake profiles, are targeting job seekers by promising assistance with employment opportunities. They then demand money from victims in exchange for supposed job placements.

In a disclaimer shared on his official social media, Bataglia said , “I have been made aware of a desperate fraudster using my Facebook account to scam unsuspecting people. I kindly request that everyone refrain from engaging with anyone via Facebook. I do not discuss employment matters on the blue app.”

He reiterated that he does not and will never discuss or offer employment-related matters on Facebook, advising the public to be cautious and report any suspicious activity.

Issah Bataglia has urged the public to be alert and refrain from engaging with anyone claiming to represent him in relation to job offers or financial requests on social media. He also requested that individuals report fraudulent profiles to Facebook to prevent others from falling victim to these scams.
