Celebrities dressed in tribute to the late Karl Lagerfeld, the designer of Chanel, for the evening’s event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
The Met Gala honors the Costume Institute’s annual exhibitions while also raising money for the New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. The topic for this year is “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” which honors the late designer’s life and body of work.
