Wendy Bagonluri Sung-Suma is a 23-year-old Biochemistry Graduate from the University for Development Studies. She is the 1st child of Mr. Kibuka Bagonluri and Mrs. Prisca Kuupol from a family of 6, including her siblings Mulumba, Natasha, and Mendy Bagonluri.

Wendy’s educational journey began at Our Home International School, where she completed her basic education. She then proceeded to St. Andrews Catholic School and later attended Tender Care Preparatory School, where she wrote her BECE and achieved excellent grades. Her outstanding academic performance earned her admission into Ola Girls SHS, Kenyasi, where she specialized in Pure Science.

Apart from her academic pursuits, Wendy is also an entrepreneur with a passion for skincare. She started her own business making and selling Shea butter lip glosses. Additionally, she utilized her talent for crocheting to establish another successful business while in university.

Wendy is a diligent advocate for entrepreneurship and believes in its power to transform lives. Currently, she is undertaking her National Service at the Ministry of Food and Agriculture-Head Office, where she hopes to contribute to the development of the agricultural sector.

In her free time, Wendy enjoys crocheting and reading. Her favorite leisure activity is crocheting, and she finds solace in the world of books. She also has a fondness for Cold TZ with jojo soup, a popular Ghanaian dish.

Wendy has actively participated in various leadership roles and pageants throughout her academic journey. In 2018, she won the title of Miss Akwaaba UDS in the Miss Tourist Ghana – Miss Culture Cat pageant. She also held positions such as the 1st Female Speaker of Parliament at UDS USPH in 2022, the UWESU National General Secretary in 2022, and the UWESU – UDS Chapter President in 2022. In 2020, she served as the Deputy WOCOM for IMCS PAX.

Overall, Wendy Bagonluri Sung-Suma is a driven and multifaceted individual who is passionate about entrepreneurship, advocacy, and personal growth. She continuously strives to make a positive impact in her community and embraces opportunities for leadership and self-expression.
