Ghanaian philosopher, Dr. Emmanuel Daanoba Sunkari appointed senior research associate at University of Johannesburg
Dr. Emmanuel Daanoba Sunkari, an associate professor of mining engineering at Sir Padampat Singhania University in India, has been appointed as a Senior Research Associate at the University of Johannesburg (UJ), a position equivalent to Visiting Professor. This prestigious appointment places him at Africa’s top-ranked research university, which was ranked number one in Africa and South Africa in the 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings.
Professor Sunkari’s appointment is a testament to his remarkable academic achievements, global research collaborations, and sustained leadership in scholarly publishing.
