Upper West Music Awards has delivered one of their promises of giving their overall Artist of the year Gh¢.5,000.00 and New Artist of the year Gh¢.1,000.00 as part of the packages to be given to the Winners.
Upper West Music Awards is an award scheme in the upper West Region who recognizes and appreciates Musicians yearly for their works as Musicians.
The Upper West Music Awards ended successful on 6th January,2023 at First and Last Gardens as we see Eddylee Gh emerging the Overall Artist of the year and Adlan winning the New Artist of the year category.
The awards theme of Branding and Rebranding, has been manifested as everyone can testify to the process that involved and the aftermath of the awards night.
The first amazing thing that happened was the Nominees Jamz that took place outside the region’s capital at the Royal Cosy Hills Resort. We also saw a football match that occurred between the media and the Nominees and there was a price for the Winner.
That notwithstanding, the Upper West Music Awards today 17th January, 2023 has delivered one of their promises as they hand over a cheque of Gh¢.5,000.00 to the overall Artist of the year; Eddylee Gh and Gh¢.1,000.00 to Adlan for being the New Artist of the year.
This gives much hope in the award scheme and the music industry in the region.
Looking forward to seeing them deliver the other promise which is the overall Artist being on the same song with their GH Artist of the year; Rudebwoy Ranking and the new Artist of the year being on a tune with their northern Artist of the year; NambaWan.
