After Tanzanian pop sensation Diamond Platnumz demanded GH50,000 from Fancy Gadam for their planned collaboration, the Ghanaian musician decided to back out.
He explained his inability to pay such a sum for cooperation in an interview broadcast on Radio Justice 98.5 FM on Saturday, explaining why their planned collaboration was doomed to fail.
“After I released my song ‘KOM’ there were growing calls for me to get collaboration with Diamond Platnumz of Tanzania. But when I and my team contacted them, they were demanding GH¢50,000 which we thought was too much” he said.
When discussing his ten-year anniversary event at Tamale’s Aliu Mahama Stadium on October 22, he made the announcement.
As a reminder, Diamond Platnumz real name Nasibu Abdul Juma Issack is a Tanzanian bongo flava recording artist, dancer, philanthropist and businessman of Ha heritage.
