The Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University (DHLTU) through its Faculty of Information Technology is preparing to host the 2024 Data Hackathon. This competition, focused on unlocking innovative data solutions, will provide students, especially those from the IT faculty, the opportunity to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills.
Scheduled for October 24, 2024, at 9:30 AM in the University’s Conference Hall, this event offers not only the chance to make a positive impact on data management but also exciting cash prizes:
Winner: GHC 5,000
1st Runner-Up: GHC 3,000
2nd Runner-Up: GHC 2,000
In addition to these prizes, the winning team will get the chance to compete in the grand finale in Accra.
About the 2024 Hackathon
The hackathon, organized in collaboration with the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS), aims to encourage students to develop innovative, policy-relevant solutions. This competition is open to all students, regardless of their year of study or department.
Key Information:
Group Participation: Students must participate in groups (2-5 members).
Cross-Discipline: Groups can include students from different departments.
Accommodation & Feeding: Both will be provided by the Ghana Statistical Service.
