Wa Municipal Chief Executive, Honourable Issahaku Tahiru Moomin, generously donated a brand new industrial sewing machine to Ms. Alhassan Rashida Balure, the best graduating student from the Fashion Design and Textile Department.

In addition, on May 18, 2024, Hon. Issahaku Tahiru Moomin also donated a cash amount of two thousand Ghana cedis (GH¢2,000.00) to Ms. Amanda Addo-Boateng, the valedictorian of the 2023 cohort. This donation was made in fulfillment of a pledge the Municipal Chief Executive had made during the 5th congregation ceremony of the University, held on the same date.
Hon. Moomin, impressed by the outstanding academic achievements of these students, further committed to providing a laptop to Ms. Bacho Beatrice, the best graduating female student from the Faculty of Engineering.
