The Rt Hon Speaker of Parliament has commenced the construction of an Ultramodern 2,000 seater capacity auditorium for his alma mata, the famous Wa Senior High School in Wa.
This swift intervention is in response to the plea by the Headmaster of the school for a befitting auditorium when some Old Students of the school made a donation of sporting equipment to the school some few days ago.
The latest gesture by Rt Hon Alban Bagbin comes after some other donations he had made to the school in the past including the printing of branded t-shirts, exercise books, mugs, computers and accessories, the drilling of boreholes and the installation of street lighting and cash donations to the school for an improved teaching and learning environment.
The site for the auditorium has already been handed over to the contractor who is mobilizing to commence the project which is estimated to cost about Nine Million Ghana Cedis (GHS9,000,000.00)
