President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Issahaku Nuhu Putiaha as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Community and Water Sanitation Agency (CWSA).
The appointment is in line with section 12(1) of the Community Water and Sanitation Agency Act, 1998 (Act 564).
Nuhu Putiaha is a development expert, a former MCE for Wa Central and former Upper West Region Organizer of the NDC , brings a wealth of experience and passion to the agency.
As the Acting Deputy CEO, Nuhu Putiaha will collaborate with Mr. Vincent Senam Kuagbenu, the Acting CEO of CWSA, to strengthen the agency’s operations. The Community and Water Sanitation Agency (CWSA) plays a vital role in ensuring the provision of safe drinking water and sanitation services to communities and small towns across Ghana.
Putiaha’s appointment is set to significantly enhance the agency’s ongoing efforts to provide clean, safe drinking water and improve water-related sanitation in communities nationwide.
His leadership and extensive development experience will be instrumental in advancing the CWSA’s critical mission of ensuring safe water and sustainable sanitation for Ghana’s social and economic development.
