The deadline for payment is 30th April, 2023. Pilgrims are advised to note that the cedi equivalent remains in force until 31st March, 2023.

According to Alhaji Farouk Hamza, the Secretary of the Hajj Board, pilgrims are encouraged to pay early through one of the 42 accredited Hajj agents nationwide to secure their slots. The Hajj Board is responsible for organizing and coordinating the annual Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca for Muslims in Ghana.

The board ensures that all Ghanaian pilgrims who travel to Mecca for the Hajj have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience.
