Dr. Edward Mwinyour Gyadel, a celebrated surgeon from Nandom-piiri in the Upper West Region of Ghana, has reportedly passed away earlier today.

Dr. Gyadel was a well-known figure both in the region and across Ghana, renowned for his dedicated services and exceptional skills in performing complex surgeries. His medical expertise earned him a stellar reputation, international recognition, and numerous accolades.

In addition to his medical career, Dr. Gyadel was a man of many talents. He was a politician, sportsman, hunter, and a devoted Catholic. In the early 1990s, he ran for office in the then Lawra-Nandom district under the ticket of the People’s National Convention (PNC), although he was not elected to represent his people in parliament.

Dr. Gyadel’s contributions to healthcare and his community have left a lasting impact. His passing is a significant loss to both the medical field and the various communities he served.

He is survived by his son and daughter, who will continue his legacy.
