Renowned Upper West blogger Asonya Gh has finally reconciled with artist Rekordz Gh, ending a year-long rift between the two influential figures in the region’s music scene.
The reconciliation comes after numerous attempts by Rekordz to make peace, with influential personalities stepping in on his behalf.
Despite several efforts to mediate, including a recent call from a highly respected individual, Asonya had been hesitant to let go of the issues that caused the fallout. However, after much reflection, the blogger decided to bury the hatchet and offer a second chance.
In a Facebook post, Asonya wrote, “For about a year now, Rekordz has been trying to make peace with me, but my heart still felt heavy to let go of what transpired between us. About a month ago, I received a call from a very respected individual, and that call was still about Rekordz. So finally, I just have to let everything slide and give ourselves a second chance.”
Asonya, known for his instrumental role in promoting Upper West’s arts, has now unblocked Rekordz from all his social media platforms, including his blog Onemuzikgh.com. He expressed readiness to support and promote Rekordz’s arts moving forward.
