New coach of Hearts of Oak, Slavko Papic says he will introduce an offensive style of football into the club.

The Serb has been appointed to replace the departed Samuel Boadu who guided the club to five trophies in two-and-a-half seasons.

Papic has an arduous task of winning the league title with the Phobians starting the suspended season on a bad note.

The 46-year-old spoke for the first time since his appointment.

“Football is a simple game for smart people.

“I grew up in a big club and I know the expectations, how much big.

“I like to play offensive football that doesn’t mean we will be on the attack and nobody cares about the defence.

“We should have scored more goals but this team scored only three goals in the CAF Cup and league.

“Big clubs must play attractive football, it’s not only about winning , very important is the way and how you win the game.” Slavko Papic told Hearts of Oak Media.

Hearts of Oak bowed out of the CAF Confederation Cup after a 3-1 aggregate loss against Malian club, AS Real Bamako.
